Broken Stele of the God Moth
This broken stele from a Ugaritic temple of the 18th century BC represents the god Moth. He is seen with horns on his head, a girdle around his waist, a fastened sword, and sandals on his feet. In his right hand he holds a weapon and in his left hand a scepter. Above the scepter is the Egyptian symbol of life.
