The Gabr i Madar i Soleiman Dieulafoy
The Gabr-e-Madar-e-Soleiman (after Dieulafoy). When the Arabs arrived they conquered the Sassanid Empire in 224 AD. When they entered Iran they were about to destroy the tomb of Cyrus at Pasargardae but according to legend the locals persuaded them not to destroy the site by telling them that it actually contained the remains of the mother of Solomon. This explains why the modern inscription at the site reads "Qabr e Madar e Soleiman" [The tomb of Solomon`s mother].
