(Sozusa): Arsuf. The name is probably not originally taken from Apollo (Egypt- Horus) but from Apollonius, son of Thraseas, who governed Coele-Syria for Seleucus Antipater (Macc x:69 ff). It was rebuilt by Gabinius in 57 B.C.
