The Lord warned His people many times concerning the idolatry and abominations of the sons of Ham (Egypt), and eventually allowed the King of Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar II) to march upon Egypt to conquer it. The first time Egypt was completely conquered according to history.

"The king of Egypt did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River." - 2 Kings 24:7

"Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife." 1 Samuel 18:27
