Septuagint
The Latin word "70" or LXX. Third or second Cent. B.C. translation of the Old
Testament into Greek supposedly by 72 Hebrew scholars (six from each of the
tribes of Israel). According to a legend in the "Letter of Aristeas" it was
translated in 72 days.
