During the Early Bronze Age Period the lamp was deeper and more enclosed. The four rounded corners for burning, along with a slightly flattened base gave it a flowerlike appearance.

During the Middle Bronze Age Period the bowls that have been found had a single burner and were sort of shell-shaped. Many have been left behind by the early Canaanites.
