Genesis 25:28 - And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of [his] venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

According to the Bible Esau was Isaac and Rebekka's firstborn son, and he had a twin brother named Jacob. His name means hairy because he was that way when he was born and throughout his life. Esau married Canaanite women and his family is listed above. Their territory was the land of Edom and they were always contending against Israel through their history.
Genesis 36:6 - And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

Genesis 32:17 -
And he commanded the foremost, saying, When Esau my
brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee, saying, Whose [art] thou? and whither
goest thou? and whose [are] these before thee?
Genesis 36:40 -
And these [are] the names of the dukes [that came] of Esau,
according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah,
duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,
Obadiah 1:19 -
And [they of] the south shall possess the mount of Esau;
and [they of] the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of
Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin [shall possess] Gilead.
Genesis 27:22 -
And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice
[is] Jacob's voice, but the hands [are] the hands ofEsau.
Genesis 26:34 -
And Esau was
forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite,
and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:
Genesis 28:6 -
When Esau saw
that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife
from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt
not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
Genesis 27:30 -
And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and
Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his
brother came in from his hunting.
Genesis 36:2 - Esau took
his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and
Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
Genesis 27:34 -
And when Esau heard
the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and
said unto his father, Bless me, [even] me also, O my father.
Deuteronomy 2:12 -
The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded
them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead;
as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.
Genesis 32:8 -
And said, If Esau come
to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall
escape.
Obadiah 1:6 -
How are [the things] of Esau searched
out! [how] are his hidden things sought up!
Genesis 36:14 -
And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of
Zibeon, Esau's
wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush,
and Jaalam, and Korah.
Deuteronomy 2:8 -
And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau,
which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from
Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
Genesis 36:43 -
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these [be] the dukes of Edom, according to their
habitations in the land of their possession: he [is] Esauthe
father of the Edomites.

pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.
Genesis 28:9 -
Then went Esau unto
Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael
Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
Genesis 27:21 -
And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son,
whether thou [be] my very son Esau or
not.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau;
and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

As he did to the children of Esau,
which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they
succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

yourselves therefore:
Genesis 27:19 -
And Jacob said unto his father, I [am] Esau thy
firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and
eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.
Genesis 27:37 -
And Isaac answered and said unto Esau,
Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for
servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now
unto thee, my son?

The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom;
We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the
heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
