The Lineage of Christ in Genesis

Matthew 1:17 - So all the generations from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon [are] fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ [are] fourteen generations.

The Bible reveals throughout all of its pages that a Messiah was going to come and save mankind. The Old Testament traces the family lineage of the Messiah. This chart reveals that Abraham's father Terah was in the limits of Christ, then  out of his three sons Abraham was in the line Messiah, then his son Isaac, and then his son Jacob, and then out of Jacobs 12 sons Judah was in the family line of Jesus Christ.
